Simeon Baker is an Australian photographer based in Austria, specialising in outdoor adventure and interior design photography. His journey into photography began unexpectedly rooted in a passion for music that first took him from Adelaide, Australia, to London, UK, in his late teens. Pursuing a career as a guitarist, he spent years traveling across Europe, performing at festivals and exploring new landscapes. Along the way, he developed a deep appreciation for nature and adventure, leading him to pick up a camera to document the places he encountered. What started as a creative outlet soon became a passion, and that passion evolved into a profession.
Today, Simeon’s work captures the beauty of the natural world and the essence of adventure. His photography has been featured in renowned publications such as National Geographic and ABC Australia, and his portfolio includes collaborations with international tourism boards and brands. Notable projects include documenting Iceland’s volcanic eruptions in 2021, as well as capturing the Alpine lifestyle in Austria, where he is now based. Through his lens, he strives to tell compelling stories that inspire a connection with nature and exploration.
Beyond his personal photography projects, Simeon is also the founder of Baker Media, a social media agency, and Baker Studios, a content creation house in Austria, both dedicated to helping brands and companies bring their stories to life through impactful visuals and digital storytelling.
